Diary 8th of March

Weekend for me today, I have 2 days off per week, so usually I spend 1 day for being lazy, writing or doing something on pc, the other day will be for shopping (food or something I need), hang out with friends or just take a walk.

Sometimes I just look at back and could see that how lucky am I. Right now I’m doing the thing I like, live a life in the dream. Of course the dream in here is my dream, and my dream is very simple, its just work in place I like, doing things I like when have free time, writing – that is. The job I’m doing now not something could help me to earn a lot of money, just enough for sth I need and a bit for saving, but I’m happy with that.

I’m working now in a restaurant in town, small but cozy one, very nice customers and co-workers are lovely as well, they are just like my family in here. I really enjoy working in the restaurant, meeting people, listen to their stories, tell them about my stories, sometimes I meet picky one but they somehow teach me how to deal with that and be me calm when something happens in my life. When still working in Vietnam I used to work with young people like students or someone with same age so I guess this was the way make me to think younger and more positive.

Lately I talked to my friend in Vietnam, she told me about work, stressful, co-workers are not nice, she just wants to quit but couldn’t because of so many reasons. I feel really sorry for her, a very young person with talent and stuck in a boring job which could kill her youth.

I know there are so many young people feeling stuck now, specially at work, I felt the same and the thing I did is quit it. Doesn’t mean that job is not good, but if you are not happy when doing it then its not for you, and don’t just wasting time for something you don’t like or not for you. Of course if its something you choose, something is base for your aim and you know what you are doing then stick with it. But in case you don’t know why and get lost then stop, take a break, go somewhere, talk to people, get more experience, who know that when come back you will have new idea or find out something really meaning to your life.

Something I wanna say to myself all the time…

Saying is easier than doing, but with my experience I hope you gonna do something good to yourself, something won’t  make you regret when you look at back someday. Listen to yourself more, understand yourself more, more than listen to other opinion about your issue. Advice is good to listen but don’t just do it because they say that you should do it, do it because you know its good for you.

Morning mood

Good morning from the other side of the world…

Lately there are so many things bother my mind, so many things need to be done, so many things need to think about, so many things need to decide and one of the biggest thing I need to decide might change my life completely.

Last year I just decided to move to other country, first to get experience in living and working oversea, second to explore and travel more. But I never thought that I will stay there for long long time, it was very big move to me, and now the next step I think it will be bigger. I’m deciding to move again, but this time is for long-term, and probably forever. I must say that my life right now is quite comfortable, I’m doing what I like, living in the style which I always dream about, but I’m alone here.

I am old enough to living without party in a pub with a lot of people, drink as hell and get up to feel sick in the morning, I’m old enough to don’t do something like that anymore. And it’s hard for me to make new friendship, which from beginning. So I’m living good here, but lonely, and somehow that’s the thing makes me unhappy although the life here is good.

Now I’m trying to move again, to be with someone I love from other side of the world. Big step, and could be biggest step in my life, I don’t know if someday when look at back I will regret about it but now I’m happy to move. Life in here is comfortable, I could earn more money, but at the end money is not everything if you live and not happy. I know that living in other country would be hard, I need to start everything from beginning, might not much money as when I’m in here, but one thing for sure that I will be happier, happier to enjoy the life.

And at the end I realize one thing that doesn’t matter where do you live, the thing makes you happier is who do you live with. Doesn’t matter what kind is it but love is important.

All I wish right now is just a cup of coffee from my friend, hide myself in a corner of the shop, cozy, smell coffee, listen to music, feel the cold from window and write something.

Who am I?

Just an update…

For nearly 6 months I didn’t update anything on here, my bad. I just decided to quit for a while, to live quietly. But yes, I’m back, again.

Portugal is a surprise, very different from anywhere I have been and it gave me a lot of different emotions as well. I felt like going back to the 18th century when I visited an old monastery in Tomar or felt like I’m walking in a movie about European in the 19th century when I go around downtown Lisbon or felt like I’m in Australia when I visit LX Factory under 25th April bridge. Portugal is mixed between old and new, between history and present, and between quiet and noisy.

We are used to taking a walk along the beach or riverside, picking a random shop for a glass of wine or a bottle of cider, and enjoying the sunshine. The wind blowing in from the sea seems to blow away the worries of everyday life and makes me wonder how lucky I am.

After all, people are never satisfied with the present, but if you want to be happy, you need to learn to put a value on what you have and be happy with that.

An afternoon in Lisbon

Just back ~…~

I’m now in a very different city, very very far away from home, everything here is different, I’m still learning how to deal and used with the life in here. But somehow it’s more relax here I guess, at least for me, I have my boyfriend and his family supporting me here, still step by step.

Sometimes I just think about everything and I could see that our life is something really amazing, everyone we meet is not totally random, we meet them with the reason. Like the way I met my boyfriend, in so many countries in the world he choice my country for his holiday, there are so many cities to visit and he choice city where I was living, there are so many hotels in the city and he choice the one just in front of the restaurant where I worked, there are so many restaurants in town and he choice mine to come for dinner, and the whole week I worked in morning shift but the day he came was the only day in week I work in evening shift. The only time we met and now we already be together.

I think I’m crazy one, I don’t recommend you do the same things like I did, but you can do different crazy things, sometimes we need to be like a dreamer and believe that magic could happen. The day I arrived in Lisbon – the day my boyfriend came to airport to pick me up – the day which is just about two months ago – that is the 2nd time we meet in person in our life, the 1st time after 3 years. When I decide to come to move to Portugal with my boyfriend I got so many negative review, yes, of course, I might do the same if my friend does it, but because it is me, so I know that I just have to take the step, to move, to know, to find out, if not I will always think about it, and  will regret because I didn’t do. Sometimes what we do is not to get success, it is to find the answer and not to regret in the rest of the life.

The door always opens for someone looking for it

Magic happened to me and I’m sure that it will happen to you as well if you believe on it enough.

Lockdown’s Diary P2

Welcome back to my blog, so most of the lockdown time passed but to be honest I feel it was so long already, feel like months not days. And basically I didn’t do much things, just sleep, watch movies, read a bit, write a bit and eat or busy thinking what to eat. This morning when I came to kitchen for breakfast everyone were watching a school movie (typical American high school movie), about a normal girl in school, be friends with hot girls, anyway a lot of things happened but it ends up in a prom night with the end that she gets together with a guy in the football’s team. It was nice one, funny, classic but fresh at the same time, story of teenagers, and somehow remind me to my high-school time, you guys must wonder how was it right? Actually…It was fun.

Although it was fun but there is something I still feel a bit regret whenever I thought about that time, and I just wonder if how everything will be if at that time I had a bestfriend.

So it doesn’t mean that I didn’t have friends, I did, good friends I could say, but bestfriend – who I can share everything with is not something I have, even until now.

For someone not know me so I’m a person who is hard to have friend, doesn’t mean I’m not friendly, I am, I could easy to talk to people but hard to be friend with, hard to be close to, sometimes I’m not sure why, my personality is weird. I have strong personality, sometimes could be stronger than a man but sometimes could be so girly. And when I was in high-school my personality wasn’t clear for me to find someone to be bestfriend. When I heard girls talking about beauty, boys, etc…I just thought “well…not my type”, I hang out more with boys because they are simple, but more older I am I know that I should have a close girl friend.

In high-school we were a group of friends, more than 10 boys and I’m the one of few girls in that group, but I’m more close to the boys than girls. We still be friends, hang out together during uni time, but of course everything start changing when they have girl-friends, some of them get married. It to be not easy anymore to hang out together, everyone is busy with different things. And at the same time I do understand that the wife/girlfriend doesn’t want husband/boyfriend hang out with the other girl (even its just friends). So we also talk less, and some we even not talk anymore.

In group of the boys they spend holiday together between couples, sometimes I’m really jealous with them or with the girls who their girlfriends, I really wanted to be the part of them, a member in the group but at the end I’m not, and never could be into that group. Before that when they traveled together I told to myself that “oh its ok, because there were only boys so that’s why they didn’t ask me to join with”. But after when they travel with girlfriends and of course some of the boys are still single they didn’t ask me to join with, and that was the time I had to face to the true that I never could be someone in that group. I was mad at them but the fact was only me thought that I’m a member of them while they never thought so. I’m happier now than before because I didn’t let that infected me, they are friends but we are not best-friends, they are best-friends to each other but not with me.

I’m not confident to say that I’m the best-friend of somebody, I don’t know to be honest, but I know I’m a good friend of some people. I still have some good friends, some close friends but best-friend I don’t think so, because best-friend is must be something meaning to both (like I’m the best-friend to you and you are the best-friend to me too, not one-way road only). Anyway, I’m happy with that, not be depended in anybody is the way to be happier. The things I focus on now is preparing for new charter of my life, build the life with my man, study more and do the things I like, travel and enjoy the life. Everyone will change and everyone will have their own life someday, you could be someone important, special but in period, not forever.

Just simple advise for you that everyone should have a best-friend, a same gender best-friend because they will understand you better.

Lockdown’s Diary P1

Today is 3rd day of lockdown in where I live but for me it’s like a 1st day, because usually I have 2 days off per week, so two other days were just like day off to me. No work today, and I don’t know if I will work any time this week or only after lockdown, but it will be till 4pm on Sunday. Anyway I have some time off for myself, relaxing a bit and update for you guys about my situation now.

Lets go, the big news I wanna tell you that I got visa to go to Portugal already, so I will leave Australia soon in 3 weeks, very excited news, but at the same time I’m very nervous, not sure if what gonna happen over there and how is the life there, different lifestyle for sure, different culture which is very interesting to me. Beside of excited, nervous I also feel a bit sad, leaving this time without knowing about the day coming back makes me sad. A year and half is not long but somehow its long enough to be used with something, long enough to have some connection with people here and think about don’t know when I will meet them again is something make me really sad. About a week ago I’ve told to one of my customers that I’m leaving soon, that was a lovely couple who I served them since the first day they came to eat, so we are more than just staff – customers, we are like friends, they were very happy for me and after dinner they left. But they came back, called me out and put money on my hand and said that they never gave me tips but they always really enjoy to having food here and happy to see me whenever they come here, just keep it like a small gift from them before I leave. They hugged me, I saw their face were sad and some tears on the eyes, that was something really touched my soul, I never expected something like that and I had to try to not cry but its really sad. Say good bye is never easy.

Anyway I can’t be sad all the time so I try to be positive and keep myself busy with other things and bummppp….lockdown is coming to town. Outside is cloudy like the mood of so many people but not me. When I woke up in the morning today I just think that “oh let do something nice”, and I just set-up to take photo of my breakfast, use anything I have in the kitchen and this is the result…

Life is tough already specially with covid situation everywhere but don’t forget to take care of yourself and stay positive. That’s the way I think and what I do on the first day of lockdown, still 7 days to go, let see if I could keep positive till then. But I hope all the best to you guys. Let say good morning with a nice breakfast, a cup of coffee and some nice chill music because anyway the time won’t stop so let enjoy as much as you can.

Happy birthday…

I have so many things, so many ideas about things to write lately, but when I sit down I don’t know how to start, my mind is empty, it is really hard to explain. But anyway I have some feelings today, and you know what – it’s my birthday, yes, today I’m 30. Big number I guess, but to be honest I feel like I’m still 20th, and let’s see what I have when I turn 30.

30 years old – I have…nothing, no car, no house, not even a dream job, no husband, no kids, etc…seems that there are so many things I don’t have, I’ve wrote a list of things I wanna have or wanna do before I’m 30, and I think that what I’ve finished is just 1 or 2. I am sure that somewhere in the world there are some who feel the same as me now, 30 years old and oh la la…sometimes still wonder who I am, where am I, what I’m doing…

But let’s see everything through a positive lens.

30 years old – I have a job which helps me to pay the bills and buy the things I want, which gives me independence and finance freedom, I don’t need to ask for money from my parents anymore.

30 years old – I have my family that is always here for me, opening the door for me whenever I wanna come back.

30 years  old – I don’t have many friends anymore, but my friends are real friends, we might not talk often but we know that we are here to support all the time as a second family.

30 years old – I don’t have a dream job yet, but I’m still on the way to find it, soon I will start studying more and step by step I will find out what is really for me.

30 years old – somehow I made one of my dreams come true by living and working in another country, although the reality is not wonderful as a dream but the experience I had is wonderful and no reason for me to regret it.

30 years old – I have someone I love and someone who wants to be by my side on my way, someone is next to me all the time and whenever I need, someone loves me unconditionally.

30 years old – I don’t really care about what people say about me anymore, I don’t really pay attention to something that is not my business anymore.

30 years old – I have nothing but at the same time I have everything I need in my life already, and what I need is not what is on the standard list, what I need is just things that make me happy and feel comfy.

So at the end after 30 years in this life I am proud of things I have done and I am happy with things I have now. A successful result for 30 first years, and let’s make plans for next 5 years, 10 years without regret.

30 years old – I’m beautiful, independent and I’m happy.

Happy birthday to me…!!!

Handwritten…

I just wonder sometimes if anyone use classic way to write a letter anymore? Or just contact by email and letters are all written on your PC? To be honest I still keep writing on paper, I really love it, I thought that I’m a bit weird but anyway, who cares right?

But yes, I write more when I was in Vietnam, so between 2 working shifts I have about 2 or 3 hours break and what I usually did is come to coffee shop, order a coffee and write something. Sometimes in winter or cool days I will walk (about 30 mins away but walk), it was really nice to me, same street but always seeing something different, take deep breath and you can smell everything, smell of the city, hear people talking, sometimes see them yelling to each other (of course there was nothing serious, it was just the way they communicate to each other, but its fun sometimes). You hear people, you see traffic, you feel the city is alive in the air, its like the city is a person with the own feeling and emotion. And all of those give me feelings, emotions to creative. I used to write a lot and a lot, could you imagine that I spent 3 hours to write non-stop everyday, and with the speed high-way. All the things bother me in my mind just come out, or any idea just come out, I didn’t speak out but I write out, and somehow it was the way I refresh my mind.

I’m not sure about the reason make me stop writing, I don’t know but I miss it a lot, for some people playing music give them high feeling, the same with smoking, or dance, etc…for me its writing, I be in my own world, write about things happened, what I thought about something, or sometimes just draw my own photo, creative my own story. But you know, stay deep in different world where you feel completely free and comfy.

I tried to write as much as I could, that’s why I creative this blog, to write more to feel better. Sometimes I still write letter to my boyfriend on paper, he loves it, he said that it is more feeling than msg on phone or email from PC. I think probably you can write something to friends or family on paper as well, or just behind the card, I’m pretty sure it will be different and somehow bring people closer together.

Technology is a good way to skip the distance but somehow it puts more distance between people….

Hey you…!!!

Dear me,

I’m you when you were full of energy, with the heart full of love, hope, but when read this letter your heart might broken already. But hey girl, don’t be too sad, be positive, strong and stronger, you are smart, beautiful and kind person. Just smile and write your own story with nice things you do everyday, enjoy it, make more friends and the prince will come to meet you someday.

Try to get a good job, earn more money, spend time to travel, discover new things in the world, smile a lot and be happy.

Don’t give up, keep trying and trying for a better life, study more and work hard, play hard as well of course 😉 you are still young so it’s fine to enjoy the life, it doesn’t mean that you are a bad girl so don’t worry mate. Follow your heart and don’t need to care about what other people talk about you, this is not important, you know what is the best for you, believe on yourself.

Sometimes it can be hard for you but I’m with you always, don’t be afraid, you are better than what you think about you, everyone can do it so you too my girl. But one thing I wanna tell you that you SHOULD make a plan for your future, you have some ideas for it I know but I mean a plan, real plan for it, like a check list you did everyday at work, details, clear and deadline also, and you will get better.

Trust me, let do it and stop crying right now. You don’t need to forget him, he is a good one, think of him with beautiful memories, sweet moments and smile, don’t cry. I’m sure that he also thinks of you in the same way, and also sad as much as you are now. But that’s the life, sometimes you meet a right one but wrong time so just keep great memories about each other and be happy.

Yes, yes, yes, I know, I know that you wanna say “Why does it always happen to me?”, right? God I know you so well mate. But listen my little girl, someone had said that “The best is for last”, so be patient and wait for a bit longer, be happy by yourself before you want someone to loves you.

Everyone gets hurt, you, me, him, your friends, his friends, etc….but don’t think too serious, everything always happens with the reason, someday when get older you sit on the chair, think about all of your life and you will know that I was right. Break up doesn’t mean end of the world, you have a family, you have job, you have full of body to do whatever you wanna do, so be happy with that, there are so many of people out there wish to have what you having now.

Ed said in his song that “Loving can hurt…just keep this love in a photograph and remember how did he kiss you…”. Don’t try to keep anything not belong to you, if it really belongs to you then it will always come back to you, anyone wanna go just let them go.

Keep writing, reading, study more and more, you should think about your own book someday, really, you are very good at that, so try, why not?

You are still so young, don’t close the door to the world, be more confident, be positive, believe on yourself, smile more (you look better when you smile baby). Keep contact with him if you want, he is a good one, you can be friends with him, don’t just because of something and lost a good friend, everything will be fine, cry if you want but you MUST feel better tomorrow when get up.

I will be here with you always, love you my little girl.

P.S: I’m listening to Ed, never get boring with his song, the song we both like, that’s an amazing song which can makes you smile or cry…

…When I’m away, I’ll remember how you kissed me

Under the lamppost back on sixth street

Hearing you whisper through the phone

Wait for me to come home….

Hanoi 2017…

TRUST…

Lately I’m losing the trust on other people around me, I really want to believe on them, to trust them but they made me really confuse to be honest, and somehow it makes me to be hard to believe on other person, made me doubt about people.

I’m not a fan of promises, it means I won’t promise if I’m not sure that I can do it.

So what is story today? I think that there are many people here were in same situation as I am now. A friend of mine asked to borrow me money, she was in hard situation and we are friends so I said yes, at the same time she promised that will give me back soon. But time to time only thing she could do that promise, I believe that she is in hard situation, I believe that she didn’t send me money back because she couldn’t, but if she couldn’t then she should tell me that she can’t, then I can be more proactive to do my things. Of course I can’t blame on her, because I said yes when she asked me, but it just made me confuse about trust and believe on what other people say and promise. I’m a very simple person so I don’t wanna think much or doubt other people, but other people somehow makes me have to doubt about them. Very soon I have to apply for my visa to Portugal and will need to show to embassy my bank detail with statement, I don’t know if they will believe that I have enough money for living there while most of money only be transfer very close to the time I apply.

I’m worried and really stress lately. I try to keep positive but sometimes I couldn’t. Because going there was my dream for long time, I don’t know if how things will happen if I fail this time. I really made a big mistake, got a lesson and could see how silly I was. And I feel that I need to write it down, to share to you about it, then don’t make same mistake as I did.

This post is not telling that you shouldn’t believe on other people, but be selective, specially something about money, not because you are selfish, but it could be reason for you to lose money and friends at the same time. And don’t promise if you can’t do it, somehow it could be the thing to break the your image which you took a long time to build.

“I know I’m not the only one who regrets the things I’ve done…”

Decision…

As you know that I have plan to move to Euro for awhile (at least a year). So yes, lately I got a lot of comments about this, about my decision. Some of them said that I decide everything too quick, just be patient and wait a bit till covid in control, but to be honest I thought about it even before I came to Australia means more than a year ago, so I don’t think that its not patient.

Some other said that why I’m having a good life here, do what I like and could earn good money and even if I wanna study more I can do it here, so why move from paradise to the land. Hmmm, some might think that I’m crazy but I feel missing something in here and it makes me not happy, I survive but not really living and enjoying in here. Of course it will take long time to used with life style in a new country but I really feel lonely here, I go to work 5 days per week, 2 days off I usually just be on PC, or sometime hang out with my co-workers, but to be honest I don’t feel that I belong to a part of them. Doesn’t mean that I don’t like them, I do, very much, they are very nice and always try to make me feel like home but I just think that I need friends here. I’m not easy one to make new friends, I could talk to everyone but to be real friends is hard, my personality is hard to have friends. And at the beginning when I planned to come here was just for short time, a year more less then go to Euro, so I didn’t imagine my life will be here for long. And I’m kind of person if I have plans I will stick on it, it might takes long time to do but I will still stick on it and just whenever I have chance I will do everything to make my plan comes true.

Australia is very nice country, very beautiful, people are very nice, one of the best place to stay in the world I think, but just simple that I’m not belong to here, and I’m still on the way to find where I really belong to.

Some people asked me how about if relationship between me and my boyfriend doesn’t work out? If I ever thought about it? Of course I did, the reason makes me come there not 100% because of him (you might not believe but well, up to you then). Study in Euro was my dream since I was very young, but I didn’t have money for that, my family is ok but I want to do it by myself. I’m smart but never have good grades to get scholarship, so I just left my dream on the side, try to catch the chance whenever I can. When I got the ticket to come to Australia I thought that only stay for 6 or 10 months then I could apply for a course in Euro, but covid hit, yes again, the world is mad, I had to delay it. Now when everything getting better then I could step by step make my dream comes true. So why do I choose his country? Because it’s a nice country, cheaper than other European countries, they have their own language but English is popular there as well, the education is good, not on the top of the top but I don’t need it, and finally that my boyfriend lives there. So its like combo of good things on my list.

How about if we break up? Well, it might happen right? Because I will come there to study so I will keep studying then see if I could find job over there, if not I will come back to Vietnam to work, so what can I do if back to Vietnam? Good question, I can do a lot of things in Vietnam, work in hospitality industry as I used to do, or teaching English for poor kids, doing blog, being trainer in hospitality school, or marketing online. To be honest I’m not worried about it if I back to Vietnam, because it’s my home, so whatever I do I will be alright, I just might not rich, don’t have much money as I do in Australia but I won’t be lonely and happier.

Something could be a good opportunity for you doesn’t mean it’s good to other person and opposite. You can give advice but don’t think or say to others they have to this or that because you think its good.

You are the person decides how your life will be

I’m very appreciated everything my co-workers said but at the end I am the one know what is the good for myself. And you too, don’t do something for yourself just because others say you have to do it. Takes advice, listen and decide based on reality and what you really want to do.

If I was right when go to Australia???

Lately I’ve talked to one of my cousin, we are in the same age so somehow its easier to talk. As a young single woman we have same thoughts about life style (of course not all the time), we are both independent and want to be independent (but I think that I’m more crazy than her, because when I asked her to go to Australia with me she said that “are you crazy?”). Anyway although there were so many things happened but I never regret about coming here, I’ve learned a lot, a lot of things and open my mind so much. I highly recommend you come to Australia when you are young (20 to 30 years old), some must asking why right? And I’m going to tell you why today.

First – everyone knows that Australia is a big country with great landscape, very different from the north to the south, from east to the west. With the area is same as US or EU there are always somewhere new you can explore. They have great beaches like Byron Bay or Fraser Island where with white sand and all nature around, sunshine and wind will blow your mind. Or in the north they have Great barrier reef which is wonderful when you do helicopter tour to see all from very high. See nature, camping, climbing, be in forest, have good time and make new friends with adventure. Or you can enjoy driving on Great ocean road in Mel, the road along to the beach, to feel the ocean as the name of it. Or go to center of Australia to see Uluru, or go to the bit of south west to Margaret river for seeing where the great wine comes from, try different wines from chardonnay to riesling, or take a trip to Tasmania where has the best seafood in Australia, etc, simply that so many thing to see and explore in here.

Second – friendly people, people here are really nice, they are always happy and welcome you. I must say that people who is living in Australia from everywhere, its somehow like a small world, so racist is something not common, doesn’t mean it not exist but not often. It’s very safe country, if something happens just call to police, I believe that you gonna be fine. I don’t know how about other nationality but Asian are a lot here, so you won’t feel lonely in here.

Third – weather is super good, because Australia is a big country so you can find all kind of weather in here. Rainy moody like London, chill like Paris in autumn or tropical sunshine like the beach in Philippine. So you will have the whole experience with those of weather in one country, how cool is it.

Fourth – money – but first I will say about income, I must say that if you work hard you could earn a lot of money here, I met a lot of young people they work so hard for 6 months and spend other 6 months for traveling. In my opinion it is not too hard to find a job in here (of course if you don’t mind to work in any kind of job), but the popular jobs for back-packer are farm, cleaner, construction or working in restaurant. Farm and construction are harder because you have to work outdoor, but most of the time you could have a good income (not all the time for farm, because depend on your contract with owner). During covid time so many friends of mine tried uber eat delivery and it was not bad actually, something good in a hard time. I’m not about other kind of job like office’s jobs but there are always something for you to do if you wanna find a job for short time. And in here the minimum rate is about 24 aud/hour, for something like construction sometime could be $30 or $40 per hour (will be higher if you work at the weekend or on holiday). So imagine that if you work 8 hours per day and 5 days per week you could earn $960 per week before tax (usually 15% tax), so will be $3840 per month. I never thought that I could earn that much money per month in my life, when was in Vietnam I worked in the same industry, worked harder (I worked 6days per week and about 9-10hours per day) and maximum I could earn is $400 per month, you see big different?

Second about spending, so for me it is not too expensive to live in here

  • Renting: depend on what kind of accommodation you want, but for back-packer like me hostel is one of the best, cheap, good quality, meeting new people, but you will need to share the room with other people, dont need to pay bond, just leave whenever you want to, it will cost you about $120-$150 per week. Other people who stay for a bit longer (like few months) will prefer share house with private room, so also depend if you wanna live near center or far. Close to center could be from $160-$250 per week, far could be $120-$200. But most of sharing house you will need to pay bond money (minimum 2 weeks), some other you need to pay for internet and parking.
  • Food: supermarket has everything you need and not expensive, for me food here cost nearly same (or a bit more expensive, but not much) price as in Vietnam for meat, fruit, eggs, vegetable is a bit more expensive but its alright. If you want to save more you can come to weekend market where the food selling with cheaper price and for me its more fresh, but only at the weekend. You can buy food for whole week with good price.
  • Eating out: so much options, from cheap to expensive, cheap could be $15 per meal, expensive could be whatever. I remember one time I went to eat out in casino with friends, meal for 4 people was about $80, not drinking, pretty good. And if you go to drink out is also not too much expensive, anyway we don’t go often so it’s fine right?
  • Transport: I use public transport so I spend like $100 per month, if you stay in center public transport is good but I recommend buying a car, because you can drive somewhere you want at the weekend, or just wherever and whenever you want. Still there are many places in here don’t have public transport, so your own car is better to explore Australia.

I wonder if I’m missing something? Not really sure now, but just let me know if you wanna know more about anything in here.

Of course that there are always some issues anywhere you live, but problems were born to solve and it will make you stronger. I won’t say that living in here is like paradise, no, still something you need to face to anytime but if need to choose somewhere for youth, for explore, for adventure, for experience to not regret I high recommend Australia. Just go and experience when you are young.
